We offer a range of fully accredited beauty and holistic treament training courses, for both beginners starting their career in beauty and holistic therapies, or existing therapists looking to upgrade their skills.
Fully Accredited Beauty Training Courses
All courses are approved and professionally accredited by ABT (Associated Beauty Therapists), meaning you can become fully insured once you have successfully completed the course.
Why Train at Ocho Academy?
All our courses are taught face-to-face, which gives you the best hands-on and practical experience. Some courses will ask you to either bring or be a model, so you get a first-hand experience of how the treatments should be carried out.
Each course comes with a manual for you to keep, full of practical tips, advice and guidance on best practice, preparation, and detailed step-by-step instructions. Each manual covers in detail the history and background of treatments, contra-actions and contraindications, how to carry out a consultation, how to provide aftercare advice, and much more.

About Us
Ocho Academy launched in 2022 as the sister business to Ocho Spa, a luxury day spa in the centre of Glasgow.
The team are passionate about learning and wanted to share their knowledge with those looking to get started in the beauty industry, or looking to expand their skills. With over 18 years professional experience, and 13 years business experience, the teachers at Ocho have seen it all.
Co-owner Pauline says: “Where I am in my career I’ve learned so much, and now I want to give back.”
FAQ
Do I need to bring a packed lunch?
Please bring your own lunch or you can purchase your lunch from Ocho Café next door.
Do I need a model?
You may be required to bring a model with you. Should this be the case we will inform you when booking.
What should I wear?
Please come dressed in your beauty or holistic uniform. If you don’t have a tunic please wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Do I need to bring anything else?
All equipment and products necessary for the course and PPE equipment will be provided on the day of training.

Payment
A £50 deposit is required to secure you booking and training date, with the remaining balance to be completed one week before the training date.
Academy Opening Hours
Sunday: 10am - 5pm
Monday: 10am – 6pm
Tuesday: 10am – 7pm
Wednesday: 10am – 7pm
Additional Informtation
All courses are small classes and training can be one to one to help ensure a relaxed positive learning environment.
We require full payment 1 week before course date, as you will receive your training manual before attending course to help yourself prepare and gain knowledge on your course.
On the day of training course, we try to bring more than one model into your training to help gain as much knowledge and experience with your new treatment.
