Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book an appointment?
You can call us on 0141 353 1170 or email us. Tell us which treatment you would like and what date and time you would like to come in. If possible, when emailing us please provide a contact telephone number in case we need to reach you quickly. Our appointment book fills up very quickly so try to book as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking well in advance to avoid disappointment for your chosen date. Weekends and evenings are always the busiest so we recommend booking at least six weeks in advance to secure your preferred appointment.
We do have a cancellation list we can add you to if your ideal date isn’t available. Ask the staff when booking over the phone or email.
How long are vouchers valid for?
All vouchers are valid for 2 years.
Do I need to bring my voucher with me?
Yes, this applies to both printed and digital vouchers. Please bring the printed voucher with you, or if you have a digital voucher have access to the voucher to show us.
What happens when I arrive at the spa?
If you have never been into the spa before we will ask you to fill out a consultation form. Then you will be asked to take a seat and wait for your therapist.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, we take a deposit of £20 per person to secure a booking.
What happens if I need to cancel?
If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, or you fail to attend your appointment, you will lose your deposit. If you give us more than 48 hours notice or want to reschedule your appointment, we can either carry over your deposit or organise a refund.
Do you do provisional bookings?
Yes, these are kept for 24 hours awaiting your confirmation before being released.
I’ve been given a voucher for a treatment that I don’t want – can I swap it?
Yes, we can swap the voucher for the monetary value of the treatment. We will only swap full vouchers – the value cannot be split.
What does a Pamper Day entail?
Our pamper packages include treatments with us in the spa, and lunch in Ocho Glasgow, the bistro next door. We will take care of both your treatment and lunch bookings. Any dietary requirements must be specified in advance so we can pass this information on to the bistro.
Do I need to bring anything?
If you are having a spray tan or advanced waxing we can provide you with disposable underwear, otherwise you can wear your own. When having a tan we also recommend bringing baggy clothes to wear after your tan so it doesn't affect the end result. With all pedicure treatments we ask you to bring flip flops to wear after your treatment to allow your nail polish to dry fully.
Is there anything that will stop me having treatments?
When you arrive we will give you a consultation card to fill in which includes a small health questionnaire. We will go through this and make sure there is nothing that will contra-indicate the treatment. Most treatments can be carried out regardless, however there are a few conditions that we may have to take into consideration before we can safely carry out your treatment. These will be discussed with you privately by your therapist prior to your treatment.
Do I need any tests before coming for treatments?
We would ask that you have a skin patch test 24 hours prior to any tinting treatments, lash lift treatments, the semi-permanent Hollywood lashes and spray tan treatments if you have very sensitive skin. This is just so we can be sure that you will not suffer a reaction to any of the strong ingredients in these products.
When should I arrive at the spa for my appointment?
We would ask you to arrive about ten minutes before your appointment so that you have time to fill in a consultation card so this doesn’t eat into your actual treatment time.
What do I need to do to get ready for my treatment? Will I need to be fully undressed?
You don’t have to be fully undressed for any treatment if you don’t want to be. For all our massages we would ask you to keep underwear on, aside from the Hydrotherm where you can be fully undressed if you feel comfortable. All treatment times include dressing and undressing time. The therapist will always fully explain what you need to do to get ready before leaving you in the room.
Anything else I need to know?
We ask that you leave your mobile phones switched off so you can enjoy your experience as much as possible and relax fully.
We do not have a designated smoking area and we need to ask you to stand outside the spa if you would like to smoke.
